Hardress Swaim
Hardress Nathaniel Swaim (1890-1957) was a federal judge for the United States Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit.[1]
Swaim received a recess appointment from President Harry Truman on October 21, 1949, to a new seat created by 63 Stat. 493; he was nominated on January 5, 1950, confirmed by the Senate on February 8, 1950, and received his commission on February 10th. He served until his death on July 30, 1957.[1]
