David L. Bazelon (1909-1993) was a federal judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.

Bazelon received a recess appointment from President Harry Truman on October 21, 1949, to a new seat created by 63 Stat. 493; he was nominated on January 5, 1950, confirmed by the Senate on February 8, 1950, and received commission February 10th. He served as chief judge from 1962-1978. He assumed senior status on June 30, 1979, and served in that capacity until his death on February 19, 1993.[1]
