State house elections, 2012
43 state lower houses held general elections for state representatives in November, 2012. This was in addition to the 43 state senates that held general elections in the presidential election year.
There are 49 state houses (Nebraska doesn't have one). The 6 state houses that did not hold a general election for state representatives in November 2012 were Alabama, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, New Jersey and Virginia.
