Elections for the Florida State Senate took place in 2014. A primary election took place on August 26, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 20, 2014.

Republicans held a 12 seat lead in the Senate, which was 60 percent of the 20 seats up for election in 2014. This chamber was not expected to change control in 2014.

Following the general election, there was no change to the majority control of the Florida State Senate. Neither party lost any seats, maintaining the 26 to 14 margin the Republican Party had over the Democratic Party.
