Eileen A. Gallagher (Democratic Party) is a judge of the Ohio Eighth District Court of Appeals. She assumed office on February 9, 2011. Her current term ends on February 8, 2029.
Gallagher (Democratic Party) ran for re-election for judge of the Ohio Eighth District Court of Appeals. She won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Gallagher was elected to the court in November 2010. She was re-elected in 2016.[1]
Biography
Education
Gallagher received her B.A. from Ohio Dominican College in 1977 and her J.D. from the Cleveland Marshall College of Law in 1987.[1]
Career
Prior to earning her law degree, Gallagher served as a probation officer for the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas. In 1987, she started working as an attorney at her solo practice. Gallagher then served as a judge for the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas from 1997 until 2010.[1]
