Steven Smith, Maryland Politician
Steven Smith was a 2010 Republican candidate for District 11 of the Maryland House of Delegates.
Elections
Smith ran against William Badore, Carol Byrd, Michael Collins (Maryland), Alberto Halphen and Gregory Prush in the September 14 Republican primary. In the general election, he faced the three winners of the Democratic primary - Jon Cardin (incumbent), Dan Morhaim (incumbent) and Dana Stein (incumbent). Brandon Brooks ran in the general election as a Libertarian candidate.
Smith lost in the general election on November 2, 2010, coming in sixth. All three seats in the district were up for election.[1]
