Ben Waide (b. May 17, 1963) is a former Republican member of the Kentucky House of Representatives, representing District 10 from 2011 to 2015. Waide did not seek re-election in 2014.

Biography

Waide earned his B.A. in Health Science in 1987.

Waide won re-election in the 2012 election for Kentucky House of Representatives District 10. He ran unopposed in the Republican primary on May 22, 2012, and defeated Mike Seiber in the general election on November 6, 2012.[1][2]

Waide's opponent in the November 2 general election was Democratic candidate Michael Duncan. According to official results, Waide defeated Duncan by a margin of 7,032 to 5,436.[3] Democratic incumbent Eddie Ballard did not seek re-election.
