North Dakota election recap, 2012
November 14, 2012
North Dakota: North Dakota's judicial elections left little room for speculation this year, being pretty uneventful. One North Dakota Supreme Court member, Justice Daniel Crothers, was re-elected after running unopposed. Thirteen candidates, participating in fifteen races for the District Courts, were unopposed and re-elected on November 6th.
In the two contested races for the District Courts, two new judges were elected. In the Southeast Judicial District, challenger Brad Cruff defeated incumbent Judge Richard W. Grosz for the Number 8 seat in the district. In the Southwest Judicial District, Dann Greenwood was elected to the Number 3 seat. He will succeed Judge H. Patrick Weir on the court.
