The GeorgiaTax Exemptions for Religious Groups Referendum, also known as Referendum A, was on the ballot in Georgia on November 5, 1996, as a legislatively referred state statute. It was approved. The measure exempted vans and buses owned by religious groups from ad valorem taxes.[1][2]
