The Maryland Compensation of the General Assembly Amendment, also known as Amendment 1, was on the November 6, 1928 ballot in Maryland as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was defeated. The measure would have regulated the compensation of members of both houses of the general assembly.[1][2]
