The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 11, 2014. Incumbent Margo Davidson defeated Billy Smith and Dafan Zhang in the Democratic primary, while Saud Siddiqui was unopposed in the Republican primary. Davidson defeated Siddiqui in the general election.[1][2][3]
