Function
The 2015 Missouri House rules described the function of this committee as outlined below.
“ | The Committee on Trade and Tourism may consider and report upon bills and matters referred to it relating to the regulation and administration of state policies by the Department of Economic Development or any agency or governmental unit thereto conferred upon by the Missouri constitution or statutes regarding the development and promotion of trade relations, retention, and expansion of national and international marketplaces, travel, tourism, recreation, the arts, and cultural affairs.[1][2] | ” |
