Three years ago, I lived in Osu Kannon. Today, I made a long-awaited visit to Shisenfu Chuka Kasumi, a place that helped me back then. Just being able to go to the restaurant fills me with excitement. At 5:30 PM, I entered the restaurant with a mix of nerves and anticipation. The familiar Kasumi warmly welcomed me, and I was genuinely happy to see her again. For my first drink, I ordered a draft beer. It has gone up a bit in price since I last visited, but the half-price service is still available. I truly appreciate that. Inside the restaurant, I noticed flowers celebrating their 6th anniversary. I can’t believe it’s been that long! I’m grateful for all their hard work, especially during the pandemic. Cheers! I ordered two draft beers to celebrate, and even though I hadn’t been there in months, I received a beautifully kept bottle. For food, I ordered my favorite "Yodare Chicken," the original-style fried chicken, and my beloved green pepper dumplings. To try a variety of dishes, I asked for half of my order to be packed for takeout (the photo shows the half portion). I also added stir-fried beef with green peppers, having just one bite in the restaurant and the rest to go. Shisenfu Chuka Kasumi is not only delicious but also incredibly accommodating to their customers, making it a truly wonderful place. For me, it feels like home in Aichi. The owner is in his early 50s, close to my age, and it seems he’s determined to keep going strong. I’ll definitely be visiting often in the future. If you’re dining with two or more people, the courses and all-you-can-drink options are still a great deal without any price increase.
