Bleach: Sennen Kessen-hen - Soukoku-tan

After an awe-inspiring battle with Ichibei Hyousube—leader of the Soul Society's Royal Guard—the powerful Yhwach moves into the final stage of his master plan. He aims to slay the Soul King, the being whose very existence maintains the status quo of three worlds: Hueco Mundo, the Soul Society, and the realm of humans that Ichigo Kurosaki and his closest friends hail from. Conquering his own bout with the remainder of the Royal Guard, Uryuu Ishida joins Yhwach in his efforts to create a new world in his image.

With a flood of resolution and newfound power, Ichigo rushes to stop Yhwach from accomplishing his ultimate goal and save the countless lives within the three existing realms. But Ichigo has a complicated lineage, one that leaves him susceptible to Yhwach's sinister influence.

Meanwhile, in a final desperate gambit, Jirou Sakuranosuke Shunsui Kyouraku, the newly promoted head captain of the Soul Society's combat corps, enlists the help of an old enemy whose immense power may turn the tide of battle.

another season and another binging gold every new season has just been so fking greatttttt......
.
though ichigo has not shown much fruit from his hard work but i know he'll but in this season he was just being not very useful...
.
but until than what great squad captains fight with each being un fking predictable like the previous season which just so great and consistent making the fight ever unique and investing with new attacks and ways unique to individuals creating such great characters whether good or bad....
.
its good to see Uryu has'nt changed much from the old time though he has became powerful gives nostalgia...seeing older ... character making attendance also feels great especially the hollows they just look cool in the new animation tooo...
.
i said in the past these new seasons feel like a celebration of bleach and i can say without a doubt ...the celebration continues....and i'm all for it... from the new animation to the ops and edss to My Ichigo voice everything was great.....

Mixed Feelings

Ichigo’s arc continues to evolve, and his role in the battle against the Quincy feels meaningful, though his character development in this part feels somewhat limited compared to the earlier seasons.
The introduction of the Quincies as the main antagonists brings a fresh layer of threat to the story. Yhwach is a powerful and menacing leader, and his powers make him a formidable foe. Other key Quincy characters, like Ishida’s complicated relationship with his heritage, adds emotional depth.
Characters like Renji, Rukia, and Byakuya get some solid screen time, but their development, particularly Byakuya’s, feels overshadowed by the new conflict.
The reappearance of beloved characters adds a lot ... of nostalgia value, but not all of them are given enough time to shine in this arc.

One of the standout elements of this arc is the high-quality animation. The fights are visually stunning, with intense combat, smooth choreography, and detailed character designs. The animation department has really stepped up for Bleach’s return, bringing the Thousand-Year Blood War to life with the level of spectacle fans expect. The battles are epic and have emotional weight, though some might feel a bit stretched in terms of runtime.

Weaknesses
Pacing Issues: As mentioned, the pacing is inconsistent, with some episodes feeling too slow while others rush through key developments. The tension can sometimes feel undercut by long stretches of dialogue or setup.
Lack of Focus: With so many characters involved, the narrative occasionally feels spread thin. Some side characters and even key figures don’t get enough development or time to shine.
Over-Reliance on Nostalgia: While it’s great to see old characters return, some of the arcs for these characters feel underwhelming compared to their previous developments, for example Mayuri.

Overall, it is a visually stunning and action-packed return to the series, with solid fights, dramatic moments, and an intriguing new set of villains. However, it suffers from pacing issues and an overwhelming number of characters vying for attention. While it’s an enjoyable watch for Bleach fans such as myself, it doesn’t quite reach the heights of the best arcs in the series. Still, it sets the stage for what could be an incredible final battle in the next parts of the war.

TLDR: It took me 15 years to realise how much shit Bleach really is.

For a series that started off fair enough; the power creep, contrived story, inexplicable superpowers and vintage anime "I will defeat you with will power" nonsense has caught up to the good animation that it has finally received. Or maybe I was naive, and it was always a pig with lipstick. Was Nelliel running around with those 2 idiots not enough to warn me this show failed at trying to be funny, while being serious? Did the horny teddy bear synthetic soul not signal the incoming stupidity? Was Kenpachi and his lolicon ... side kick not a red flag? Was everyone strangely idiotic Bankai not a giveaway? I could go on but that would be a retelling of the entire show. The world building created a mess of chaotic themed factions with the mechanics of a rotary engine. Great at 10000 rpm but utter shit everywhere else. If you ask the typical Bleach fan what they like; it is all about the fights and nothing to do with the stapled-on story with weak characters. So, who really is Bleach for? The only thing I can think of is, adults with the mindset of a 12-year-old, unless you're okay with actual 12-year-olds getting a healthy serving of Matsumoto fan service.
