I don't write reviews because I personally think MAL reviewers are the lamest people on Earth, but I'm doing an exception this time because no one has bothered to write one and this manga is absolutely worth your time.

So this is esentially a parody of old school hot-blooded action shonen manga (like the ones by Ikki Kajiwara, Go Nagai, Masami Kurumada, etc.) and it's batshit insane. Shimamoto's writing makes fun of the tropes and clichés of the genre to a ridiculous level, but there's also his ultra-intense dynamic artwork that makes the whole thing even better (seriously, the guy draws like he was snorting coke ... or something before each chapter, it's amazing).

So, basically, if you like comedy and old manga, this is a blast to read. Don't expect any kind of dramatic or serious moments though.
