CORVALLIS, Ore. (KATU) — Oregon State University's football team has fallen to a 0-2 start this season following a 36-27 loss to Fresno State at Reser Stadium on Saturday.
The Beavers, who were looking to rebound from a season-opening defeat to California, were plagued by penalties and special teams errors, culminating in a pick-six in the final seconds of the game.
Despite the loss, the Beavers managed to accumulate 528 total yards and 30 first downs, doubling the number achieved by the Bulldogs.
However, the team's performance was marred by two missed extra points, two failed punts, two interceptions, and two unsuccessful two-point conversions.
Beavers will visit Texas Tech next Saturday in Lubbock.
