Abstract
Studi ini memperkenalkan Indeks Konsumsi/Pembayaran Nasional (IKPN), sebuah proksi baru untuk konsumsi rumah tangga yang berasal dari transaksi pembayaran digital yang diproses melalui infrastruktur Bank Indonesia dan platform sektor swasta. Melalui Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA), NSPI menunjukkan keselarasan yang kuat dengan tren konsumsi rumah tangga, mencapai korelasi yang lebih tinggi (0,95) dibandingkan dengan indeks tradisional seperti Mandiri Spending Index (0,94), Indeks Keyakinan Konsumen (0,86), dan Indeks Penjualan Eceran (0,68). Temuan ini mengungkap potensi data saluran pembayaran, terutama peningkatan transaksi digital pascaCOVID-19, sebagai indikator ekonomi real-time. NSPI memberikan wawasan yang berharga untuk penelitian empiris dan pembuatan kebijakan, menawarkan kepada para pembuat kebijakan sebuah alat yang dinamis untuk memantau dan merespons pergeseran perilaku konsumsi secara mingguan atau bahkan harian, sehingga meningkatkan kecepatan respons ekonomi.
