Jack Black and Brandi Carlile search for Mike Myers during SNL goodnights, but he's standing right there

"Where'd he go?" the singer can be heard asking about the "Austin Powers" star, who's standing beside her.

Sometimes what you are searching for is right there all along, as was the case with a certain Saturday Night Live alum who was thought to be missing during the goodnights of this weekend's show, all while standing on screen the entire time.

At the end of Saturday's show, host Jack Black, musical guests Elton John and Brandi Carlile, and special guest Mike Myers gathered on stage with the SNL cast and other musical performers to say goodbye after a lively show. Only, nobody could seem to find the Wayne's World star, who'd reprised his portrayal of Elon Musk in the cold open.

"Thanks to Elton John, Brandi Carlile, Mike Myers," the host began, putting his arm around a platinum-coifed man to his left, before registering that it was not the Austin Powers actor, but music producer Andrew Watt, who'd played with John and Carlile.

"Where's Mike Myers" the School of Rock star yelled out, scouring the stage for him. "Where'd he go?" Carlile could be heard asking.

Turns out, they didn't have to look far. Myers, who now sports silver hair, was standing right next to Carlile, and just two people away from Black all the while. He even pointed at himself as the others were hunting for him.

While a tad embarrassing, the incident paled in comparison to the awkwardness at last week's goodnights, in which country star Morgan Wallen hightailed it off stage to hop on a private jet headed toward "God's country" instead of saying goodbye to any of the cast members.

"I don't know what goes through people's minds when they decide to do stuff like that. I don't know if he understood the assignment or not, or if he was really feeling a certain kind of way," Kenan Thompson told Entertainment Weekly of Wallen's actions afterward. "I thought maybe he had to go to the potty or something."
