Review: Alphonse pens a love letter to jungle on this new EP for Klasse Wrecks. It's a flurry of drum breaks and powerful rhythms all served up through a classical lens with hefty bass underpinning each tune. This is a real journey into jungle with epic 12-minute plus opener 'Android Mash' twisting and turning through a flurry of tumbling snares, police sirens and yearning vocals. 'The Eagle' is a more soulful sound but still dense in its arrangement and tense in its rhythms. 'Elevation' closes down with plunging basslines and dark soul atmospheres.

Review: Klasse Wrecks welcomes Robbert Heynan who is best known as one-half of the Psychick Warriors Ov Gaia, an act that very much set the temple for tribal techno in the early 90s. Their vast and vital body of work stands the test of time but they went their separate ways in 1992 to explore other projects. One of them was Excor, which saw Heynan put out some lesser-known tunes. The Chief EP is a hard-to-find outing from 1996 that has been remastered here and features the two original tunes next to two new and unheard versions.

Review: Welcome to the Jotel California, where the kicks are analogue and the synths electric. That is certainly the cat eon this new Borrowed Time EP on Klasse Wrecks, anyway, which has four cuts of searing dance floor electro. 'Nabelmilch' (feat Babyblade) opens up in a blizzard of kicks, hits and withering sci-fi synths. 'Bulldoze' slows down with squelching bass lines and more roomy and cinematic vibes and 'Borrowed Time' then takes off to the stars on a punchy rhythm overlaid with rich bass pulses. 'Slow The Sunset' is another mid-tempo and atmospheric cut with bright acid lines and plenty of astral motifs.

Review: Shout out to Klasse Wrecks who clock up the not so insignificant milestone of 50 releases here. Luca Lozano is the one who takes the reins for the big 12" and serves up some electric sounds for peak-time deployment. 'Number One Difficult Man' is noisy, intense, acid-laced tech house and 'FRe-Mix; is full of edgy breakbeat energy and bouncing synth sequences with knick-snapping hits. 'Save Me From The Rave' is our old school action with retro stabs and pummelling drums so get your gun finger at the ready. 'Root' then brings mangled synths and metallic breaks under some female vocal energy.

Review: After a two-year hiatus in which he appeared on Running Back and, more recently, Super Rhythm Trax, Luca Lozano returns to the Klasse Wrecks label he co-founded with Mr Ho almost a decade ago. There's naturally much to admire across the four-tracker, with the Sheffield-based serving up an eclectic selection of nostalgic, retro-futurist treats first featured on his CD-only 'Man of Science' album. On opener 'Prognosis', he doffs his cap towards mid-90s psychedelic house and rushing early '90s piano house - think Italian dream house motifs, throbbing arpeggiated bass and bongo-laced beats, while 'Celestial Being' sounds like early 90s, breakbeat-driven Orbital productions with an extra-dose of loved-up warmth. Over on the reverse, 'Make Peace' is an urgent, non-stop slab of trance-inducing dancefloor intoxication, while 'Man of Science' is a deep 'bleep & breaks' treat.

Review: Klasse Wrecks has started a new catalogue naming convention for this Boy EP from Mogwaa which suggests it might be the start of a new series. Either way it's defined by an epic, side-long title cut that is a real house and techno fusion. It has the soulful pads of house but the drive of techno drums, with pitched-up hardcore vocals over the top and a bright, screwy acid line tearing up the middle. It's a beautiful collision of party-ready sounds. After that 14-plus minute epic is a half length VIP mix that distils everything into a more potent and direct track.
