Curriculum

ANTONELLO CAMMARANO Curriculum

I am a Researcher at the Department of Industrial Engineering, University of Salerno, where I earned my Ph.D. in Engineering and Economics of Innovation in 2016. I currently lecture in Economy and Business Organization, Innovation and Technology Management, Smart Supply Chain Management, and Start-up and Business Planning.

My research focuses on emerging technologies, innovation and knowledge management, open innovation, patents, start-ups, supply chain management, sustainable development, technology foresight, opportunity analysis, strategic technology management, and more. Additionally, I am a dedicated software developer, data scientist, and enthusiast in artificial intelligence.

Within my department, I am an active member of the Laboratory of Economics and Management Engineering. I lead two international research groups:

  • Emerging, Sustainable and Smart Technologies (est. 2021): Investigating how emerging technologies impact business performance.
  • Technology and Management (est. 2020): Exploring the interplay between technology, managerial practices, innovation, and sustainability.

I serve as Associate Editor for Operations Management Research and Editor for Scientific Reports (Springer Nature). Since 2018, I have been on the Editorial Review Board of IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management. I also serve as Guest Editor for various special issues on emerging technologies and sustainability.
