Where De-Loused In The Comatorium was a complex debut making clear that the newfound project would serve as a far cry from the post-hardcore nature of At The Drive-In, the follow up was a tailspin psycho-prog sax soloing guitar-mangling sonic clusterfuck that put almost all artists brave enough to claim the experimental rock tag to utter shame. And now you can be reminded of just why, but with that extra sprinkling of audio fidelity to elevate these cavernous musical trips to their full lysergic peak.
