Review: A musical genius who started playing piano at two and was studying at a music conservatory by age five, Tori Amos is technically in a league of her own. Over three decades, she has had a remarkable career, earning the highest accolades for her captivating lyrics, impressive piano work and novel songwriting approach. This live album reminds us what an exhilarating performer she is on stage. Recorded throughout 2022 and 2023 on her Ocean to Ocean tour, Amos treated fans to the deep cuts, B-sides and covers at her shows, hence the album title. Whilst Amos is at the forefront of the mix, the skill of bassist Jon Evans and drummer Ash Soan on the record elevates her power to terrific heights. Not exactly the deepest of cuts on the record, but still a standout, the album was launched with 'Cornflake Girl' as the single, which is an astounding song that sets the benchmark and ought to be played to any aspiring musician.

Review: Tori Amos is celebrating the tenth anniversary of her critically acclaimed album Unrepentant Geraldines with this special Deluxe Edition. It is a newly remastered version which includes three exclusive tracks, namely 'White Telephone To God,' 'Forest Of Glass,' and the newly released 'Dixie.' Unrepentant Geraldines marked Amos' return to her pop and rock roots after several classical albums. Recorded at Martian Engineering Studios, the self-produced album features a stripped-back acoustic sound that highlights Amos's vocals and piano with chamber-pop arrangements. The lyrics, inspired by visual art, explore fairy-tale themes and introspection and the album reached number 7 in the US, making Amos's eighth top ten album there.
