Including fan favorites like 'Magneto', 'Moon Race', and 'Crocotiger', the band's snappy, rockabilly-horror dread-inductions are put back on full blast. Chups' cinematic approach to surf rock is much exulted, blending instrumental prowess with a love for vintage, analog horror and pop culture. Like The Misfits, except surf rock: spookier, eerier sound effects undertone exotica and spaghetti western jigs, as on the creatively juxtaposed 'Astro Zombies', a punky song warning its listeners of fearsome, chameleonic creatures known as astro-zombies, who walk among us, portending societal breakdown.
