Mark Edelson
Mark Edelson (Democratic Party) is a member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing District 46. He assumed office on January 11, 2023. His current term ends on January 13, 2027.
Edelson (Democratic Party) ran for election to the Maryland House of Delegates to represent District 46. He won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Edelson was a 2016 Democratic candidate for District 1 of the Baltimore City Council in Maryland. He lost the primary election that took place on April 26, 2016.
Biography
Mark Edelson was born in Pretoria, South Africa, and lives in Baltimore, Maryland. Edelson graduated from Walton High School in the Bronx, New York. He earned a B.S. in criminal justice from Georgia State University in 2007 and a J.D. from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law in 2020. His career experience includes working as an attorney at Goldman & Goldman and as a partner at Silverman, Thompson, Slutkin, White. Edelson was a member of the Baltimore City Bar Association, on the board of directors for Transit Choices and the Associated Jewish Federation of Baltimore, president of the Canton Community Association, and vice-chair of the Baltimore City Democratic State Central Committee.[1]
