Mark D. Clarke is a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the District of Oregon. He was appointed to this position on February 28, 2007, and reappointed on February 9, 2015. His current term expired on February 27, 2023.[1][2][3]

Education

Clarke earned his B.S. degree from Southern Oregon University in 1980 and his J.D. from the University of Oregon School of Law in 1983.[1]

Career

Clarke worked as a trial attorney with the firm Bullivant Houser Baily, PC from 1983 to 1990. He specialized in liability and commercial litigation. He became a shareholder in the firm Frohnmayer, Deatherage, Pratt, Jamieson, Clarke & Moore, where he worked until he was appointed magistrate judge in 2007.[1]
