Louisiana Traffic Courts
From Ballotpedia
The Louisiana Traffic Courts and the Traffic Violations Bureaus administer hearings for traffic violations in the state of Louisiana. Some of the courts are under the supervision of a city court.[1]
Judges of the traffic courts are elected to eight-year terms, throughout which they work part-time schedules and are allowed to maintain a private practice.[2]
