Kevin Hartke is the Mayor of Chandler in Arizona. He assumed office on January 10, 2019. His current term ends in 2027.

Hartke won re-election for Mayor of Chandler in Arizona outright in the primary on August 2, 2022, after the general election was canceled.

Hartke was first elected to the council in 2010, though he served briefly as an interim-member of the council in 2008.[1]

Mayoral elections in Chandler are nonpartisan. Media outlets have reported that Hartke is affiliated with the Republican Party.[2][3]

Hartke earned a B.A. in agricultural biochemistry from the University of Missouri and an M.A. in theology from the Fuller Theological Seminary. His professional experience includes working as the lead pastor at Trinity Christian Fellowship.[1]

Elections for the city council of Chandler, Arizona were scheduled for November 4, 2014. A primary took place on August 26, 2014. Three council seats were up for election. Because three candidates received a majority of the total votes in the primary election, the general election was called off. Incumbent Kevin Hartke, Rene Lopez and Terry Roe defeated Jon Beydler, Chelle Daly and Sam Huang.[4][5]
