Kentucky House of Representatives elections, 2010

Elections for the office of Kentucky House of Representatives were held in Kentucky on November 2, 2010. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in these elections was January 26, 2010 and the primary Election Day was on May 18, 2010.
Incumbents ran in 95 out of the 100 districts. Races without an incumbent included districts 10, 32, 37, 52, and 81.
Democrats lost seven seats as a result of the election, reducing their majority in the chamber to 16 seats.

Any person intending to run for a seat in the Kentucky House of Representatives must file a declaration of candidacy with the Secretary of State's office and pay a filing fee of $200.00
