Eric Smith (Kansas)
Eric Smith (Republican Party) was a member of the Kansas House of Representatives, representing District 76. He assumed office on January 9, 2017. He left office on January 13, 2025.
Smith (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Kansas House of Representatives to represent District 76. He won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Biography
Eric Smith was born in Eureka, Kansas. Smith served in the U.S. Air Force as an Electro Mechanical Technician from 1988 to 1992. He earned an associate of arts in electronics and minutemen weapon system from the Community College of the Air Force in 1991 and a BASc in criminal justice and corrections from Liberty University. Smith’s career experience includes working as a police officer with the Burlington Police Department and the Lebo Police Department and as a deputy sheriff with the Coffey County Sheriff's Office.[1]
