DuBose Porter
DuBose Porter (b. October 2, 1953) is a former Democratic member of the Georgia House of Representatives, representing District 143 from 1983 to 2011. He was the House minority leader. Porter did not seek re-election in 2010.
Biography
Porter's professional experience includes working as an attorney with Nelson & Porter and newspaper editor with the Dublin Courier Herald.
He is a member of the Georgia Press Association, Jekyll Island Foundation Board, Liberty Trustees Association, Nature Conservancy, and Trust for Historic Preservation.[1]

In 2008 Porter was re-elected to the Georgia House of Representatives District 143. Porter (D) ran unopposed and finished with 16,478 votes.[3] Porter raised $201,600 for his campaign fund.[4]
