Bill Linehan
Bill Linehan was a member of the Boston City Council in Massachusetts, representing District 2 from 2007 to 2017. He did not file for re-election in 2017 and resigned on October 18, 2017. Linehan was the president of the council from 2014 to 2017.[1]
Biography
Linehan is from Boston, Mass., and attended the University of Massachusetts, Boston. His professional experience includes working as the director of operations for the city's Parks Department and as special assistant to the chief operating officer of the City of Boston.[2]

The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was May 19, 2015. All 13 city council seats were up for election. In District 2, incumbent Bill Linehan ran unopposed.[3]
