Arnie Schultz
Arnie Schultz was a 2015 nonpartisan candidate for Ward IV of the Aurora City Council in Colorado. He withdrew from the race in September due to health issues and endorsed Joe Lewis.[1]
Biography
Schultz earned a B.A. in chemistry from Adelphi College. He later received an M.S. and Ph.D. in organic chemistry from the University of Colorado-Boulder. Schultz worked as a clinical chemist for the Denver Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center before retirement. His volunteer experiences include serving on committees in Cherry Creek School District and serving on the city's Parks and Recreation Advisory Board.[2]

2015
The city of Aurora, Colorado, held elections for mayor and city council on November 3, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was August 27, 2015. Five of the ten city council seats were up for election.[5]
In Ward IV, incumbent Molly Markert did not file for re-election. Arnie Schultz withdrew his candidacy in September. Charlie Richardson defeated Joe Lewis in the general election.[6]
