Anthony Davis (Democratic Party) was a member of the Tennessee House of Representatives, representing District 51. He assumed office on June 20, 2023. He left office on October 4, 2023.

Davis (Democratic Party) ran in a special election to the Tennessee House of Representatives to represent District 51. He lost in the special Democratic primary on August 3, 2023.

Davis was appointed to the Tennessee House of Representatives on June 20, 2023, to replace Bill Beck (D).

Biography

Anthony Davis earned a bachelor's degree in marketing and economics from Lambuth University in 2002. Davis' career experience includes co-founding iDesign Inc., founding and working as the president of the East Nashville Beer Works, and working as the national account manager of the Christie Cookie Company. He served on the Nashville Metro Council.[1]

The city of Nashville, Tennessee, held nonpartisan elections for mayor and metro council on August 6, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was May 21, 2015. All 41 metro council seats—including the office of vice mayor—were up for election. In District 7, incumbent Anthony Davis defeated candidates Stephen Clements and Randy Reed.[2][3]
