Walker Hines is a former Republican member of the Louisiana House of Representatives. He represented the 95th District from 2008 to 2012. Formerly a Democratic member of the House, Walker officially became a Republican on November 12, 2010.[1]

Hines is a financial investment analyst. He earned his BGS from the University of Michigan.

Hines is a member of the Orleans Delegation.[2]

On February 16, 2011, Hines announced he would challenge incumbent Republican Tom Schedler and Democratic attorney Caroline Fayard in the 2011 election for Louisiana Secretary of State.[3] Hines withdrew from the race on August 11, announcing he would not be running for any public office in 2011.[4]

2007

In 2007, Hines was elected to the Louisiana House of Representatives. He defeated Una Anderson.[5]
