A special election to fill the seat representing Texas' 18th Congressional District in the U.S. House was held in 2024. The general election was held November 5, 2024. The filing deadline was August 22, 2024.[1]
The special election filled the vacancy left by Sheila Jackson Lee (D), who died on July 19, 2024.[2]
