Tanja K. Manrique
Tanja K. Manrique was a Minnesota Fourth Judicial District judge for Hennepin County, Minnesota. She was first appointed to this court on December 31, 1998 and was elected in 2000 and 2006.[1] She retired from the court on November 1, 2010.[2]
Judge Manrique began her legal career in 1991 as an associate of the law firm Popham, Haik, Schnobrich & Kaufman. She then practiced with Greene, Espel from 1993 to 1995 and served as General Counsel and Deputy Chief of Staff for Gov. Carlson from 1995 until her judicial appointment in 1998. She has also served as the co-chair of the Hennepin County Family Violence Coordinating Council.
Manrique received her B.A. degree from Cornell College in 1988 and her J.D. degree from the Georgetown University Law Center in 1991.[1]
