Shane Saunders ran for election to the Tulsa Public Schools Board of Education to represent District 5 in Oklahoma. Saunders lost in the general election on June 30, 2020.

Saunders ran in the 2012 election for Oklahoma House District 70. Saunders and Ken Walker advanced to the August 28 primary runoff. Saunders was defeated by Ken Walker in the primary runoff.[2] The general election took place on November 6, 2012.[3][4][5][6][7]
