Rebecca Jarman was a candidate for at-large representative on the Higley Unified School District Governing Board. She ran in the November 4, 2014, general election.[1] Rebecca Jarman lost the general election on November 4, 2014.

Jarman has a bachelor's and master's degree from Brigham Young University. She substitute teaches and volunteers as a teacher with "Constitution in the Classroom." She is also involved with the Boy Scouts of America and her church's youth organizations. Jarman serves as a precinct committeeman and on the Higley Unified School District Budget Advisor Committee.[2]

Two at-large seats were up for election in 2014. Incumbent Venessa Whitener ran for re-election. Fellow incumbent Kim Anderson did not file to run in the election. Greg Wojtovich, Michelle Anderson and Rebecca Jarman joined Whitener on the ballot.

Incumbent Whitener and newcomer Wojtovich won the general election.

My desire is to serve our community by committing to give a louder voice to Higley stakeholders - parents, students, teachers and taxpayers. Having a Board that is approachable and working on transparency will encourage the Community to become more involved. Community members need to know that their concerns will be addressed and that input is not only needed but wanted![2][4]
