Ryan Macoubrie
Ryan Macoubrie was a 2014 Democratic candidate for District 16 of the Colorado House of Representatives.
Biography
Born in Southern California, Macoubrie moved to Colorado in 1992. He graduated from Mitchell High School in 2004 and went on to earn his A.A. from Pikes Peak Community college. He then earned his B.A. in English literature from Colorado State University.[1]
Macoubrie's professional experience includes working as a welder's assistant, sales clerk, sales consultant, published author and speechwriter for the Mayor of Colorado Springs Steve Bach.[1]

Elections for the Colorado House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on June 24, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 31, 2014. Ryan Macoubrie was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while incumbent Janak Joshi was unopposed in the Republican primary. Joshi defeated Macoubrie in the general election.[3][4][5][6]
