A Proposed Santa Paula Unified School District, Measure M ballot question was on the November 6, 2012, ballot for voters in Ventura County in these school districts:
- Santa Paula Union High School District
- Santa Paula Elementary School District
Measure M was approved. The approval of Measure M means that an entirely new school district, to be called the "Santa Paula Unified School District," will be formed from the territory of the Santa Paula Union High School District and the Santa Paula Elementary School District.
Note: The Briggs Elementary School District, the Mupu Elementary School District, and Santa Clara Elementary School District will remain as independent elementary school districts.
