Biography
Donilon graduated from Georgetown University and Georgetown University Law Center. For nearly four decades, he worked as a media consultant and pollster involved in six presidential campaigns and more than two dozen Senate, House, gubernatorial, and mayoral races. He was also a managing director of the Biden Institute and an assistant professor at the University of Delaware.[2]
Donilon worked in the Obama administration as a counselor to Biden. He also worked on Biden's presidential campaign as the chief strategist responsible for messaging, advertising, and polling.[2]
Donilon served as a senior advisor to President Joe Biden (D). He resigned from the administration in January 2024.[1]
