The Missouri Regulation of Firearms Amendment did not appear on the ballot in Missouri as an initiated constitutional amendment on November 5, 2024.
The amendment would have authorized for the regulation by ordinance of the possession, carrying or transfer of firearms. [1]

Stages of this ballot initiative
- The petitions were submitted by Jimmie Edwards to the secretary of state on August 16, 2023. Sensible Missouri was leading the campaign in support of the initiative.[2]
- On February 25, 2024, Spectrum News reported that Sensible Missouri will not continue the initiative campaign for the 2024 ballot.[3]

On August 28, 2023, Paul Berry III filed a lawsuit to challenge the filed initiatives. The lawsuit said that three filed initiative petitions violate Article I, Section III of the Missouri Constitution.
