Melissa Armijo
Melissa Armijo (Democratic Party) was a member of the New Mexico Public Education Commission, representing District 1. She assumed office on January 1, 2021. She left office on December 31, 2024.
Armijo (Democratic Party) ran for election to the New Mexico House of Representatives to represent District 12. She lost in the Democratic primary on June 7, 2022.
Biography
Melissa Armijo lives in South Valley, New Mexico. Armijo's career experience includes working as the office administrator of the National Hispanic Cultural Center Foundation and special assistant to the dean of students at the University of New Mexico.[1]

Armijo was elected to the commission in November 2020 and assumed office in January 2021.
