Matthew L. Headley is a judge for the 64th Circuit Court of Putnam County, Indiana.[1] He has served the court since 2005. Headley won re-election in the general election on November 8, 2016.
Education
Headley earned a B.A. from University of Mississippi, going on to receive his J.D. there as well. He was admitted to the bar in 1990.[2]
Career
Prior to joining the court in 2004, Headley was a Putnam County prosecutor and Putnam County deputy prosecutor. He also was in private practice and has served as an attorney for a variety of organizations, including the Putnam County Hospital, the Putnam County Council, and the Putnam County Community Foundation.[3]

Indiana held general elections for local judicial offices on November 8, 2016. A primary election took place on May 3, 2016. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was February 5, 2016. Matthew L. Headley (R) ran unopposed in the general election for the Indiana 64th Circuit Court in Putnam County.[4]

Headley was re-elected to the 64th Circuit Court of Putnam County of the Indiana Circuit Courts in 2010. He received 3,694 of the votes.[5]
