Matthew L. Headley is a judge for the 64th Circuit Court of Putnam County, Indiana.[1] He has served the court since 2005. Headley won re-election in the general election on November 8, 2016.
Education
Headley earned a B.A. from University of Mississippi, going on to receive his J.D. there as well. He was admitted to the bar in 1990.[2]
Career
Prior to joining the court in 2004, Headley was a Putnam County prosecutor and Putnam County deputy prosecutor. He also was in private practice and has served as an attorney for a variety of organizations, including the Putnam County Hospital, the Putnam County Council, and the Putnam County Community Foundation.[3]

Indiana held general elections for local judicial offices on November 8, 2016. A primary election took place on May 3, 2016. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was February 5, 2016. Matthew L. Headley was re-elected to the 64th Circuit Court of Putnam County of the Indiana Circuit Courts in 2010. He received 3,694 of the votes.[5]
