Massachusetts State Senate elections, 2014
Elections for the Massachusetts State Senate took place in 2014. A primary election was held on September 9, 2014, and a general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 3, 2014.
Following the general election, there was no change to the majority control of the Massachusetts State Senate. The Republican Party chipped away at the Democratic Party's control of the chamber, but the latter party maintained a sizable advantage. The Democrats fell from 36 to 34 seats, while the Republicans picked up those two seats to increase their seats from four to six.
