Montana Create Board of Education, Amendment 1 (1942)

The Montana Create Board of Education Amendment, also known as Amendment 1, was on the November 3, 1942 ballot in Montana as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was defeated. The measure would have created a state board of education as well as prescribed the board's personnel, powers, duties and terms of office .[1][2]
