Montana Consolidation of Higher Education Institutions, I-9 (1914)

The Montana Consolidation of Higher Education Institutions Initiative, also known as I-9, was on the November 3, 1914 ballot in Montana as an initiated state statute, where it was defeated. The measure would have consolidated the State University in Missoula, the College of Agriculture and Mechanic Arts in Bozeman and the School of Mines in Butte into the University of Montana to be located in either Bozeman or Missoula.[1][2]
