Fisher received her undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida and her J.D. from Nova Southeastern University.[2]
Career
Prior to her election to the bench, Fisher was a lawyer with over 20 years experience. She was an Ulster County assistant public defender and ran her own firm, Lisa M. Fisher, Esq.[2] She has previously worked as a staff attorney for the Ulster County Department of Social Services and a court attorney in Kingston City.[3]
