The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 26, 2015.[1] Laurie Buchwald was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Incumbent Joseph Yost was unopposed in the Republican primary. Yost defeated Buchwald in the general election.[2][3]
