Lucy Ann Wieland
Lucy Ann Wieland was a Minnesota Fourth Judicial District judge for Hennepin County, Minnesota. She was appointed to this position on July 25, 1990 and was elected to full terms in 1992, 1998 and 2004. She was last assigned to the Juvenile Court.[1] She retired in the fall of 2012.[2]
Education
Wieland received her B.A. degree from Stanford University in 1972 and her J.D. degree from the William Mitchell College of Law in 1982.[1]
Career
Wieland began her legal career in 1982 as an Assistant Hennepin County Attorney. She co-founded the firm of Colich and Wieland in 1985, where she practiced until her judicial appointment in 1990.[1]
2010 election
Wieland was re-elected after running unopposed.[3]
